Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Eventir Ltd uses cookies and similar local storage technologies on eventir.co.uk. We keep it minimal — the short version is: we use only what we need to keep the site working, and nothing for advertising.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are signed in. "Similar technologies" includes browser localStorage and sessionStorage, which work the same way but are cleared differently.
2. Cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of these while using Eventir.
- sb-<project>-auth-token — Set by Supabase Auth. Keeps you signed in during your session. Expires when you sign out or after 1 week of inactivity.
- sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifier — Short-lived cookie used during the sign-in flow (magic link / OAuth). Cleared immediately after authentication.
2.2 Analytics (optional)
We do not currently use any third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics). If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and request your consent before setting any analytics cookies.
2.3 Advertising and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any cross-site tracking technologies. Full stop.
3. Third-party cookies
When you proceed to payment, Stripe may set cookies on their hosted payment elements to prevent fraud and comply with financial regulations. These are subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing a purchase. The following links explain how to manage cookies in common browsers:
5. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use in a material way, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
